My verdict: fun, shamelessly adult and great value if you mostly want flirty NSFW chat plus realistic pictures. Less convincing if deep long-term memory is your #1 priority.

400+ Angels Is Fun — Until You Realize You Definitely Have a Type

• The catalogue is huge, but I would not call it especially imaginative. Most characters fit familiar AI-girlfriend archetypes — blonde influencer, goth girl, dominant lover, curvy bombshell, anime cutie, and so on. There is plenty to browse, but fewer genuinely weird or creative concepts than on stronger roleplay-first platforms.

• The Create Your Girlfriend page sounds more powerful than it really is. Customization is fairly basic: you mainly tweak standard appearance options rather than deeply building personality, lore, quirks or roleplay setup. That matters because the default roster already feels pretty conventional.

The Group Chat Is Actually One of the Cooler Features

AI Angels lets you put two girls into the same group chat and talk to both at once. That sounds like a gimmick, but it is genuinely one of the more fun features here because the dynamic immediately becomes less predictable than a normal one-on-one chat. For threesome-style roleplay, jealousy scenarios or simply bouncing two personalities off each other, this is much more interesting than another catalogue of near-identical girlfriends.

Chat: Surprisingly Realistic, Not a Roleplay Playground

Weirdly, that makes it feel more realistic than the companions that immediately act obsessed with you after two messages.

Memory is more nuanced. AI Angels says signed-in chats use roughly the last 50 messages plus saved facts about you. That's better than a total reset every session, but outside hands-on testing has reported repetition, scene resets and occasional invented memories in longer chats.

For short and medium conversations, it is entertaining. For a six-month relationship arc that needs perfect continuity, I would look at memory-first rivals.

The Photos Are Probably the Best Part

Current support pages list 50 credits per photo, 25 credits per voice note, 50 credits per minute for live voice calls and 200 credits for generated video.

The images are genuinely one of AI Angels' strongest features: really good, realistic and properly spicy. Face consistency is solid enough that the same girl usually still looks like the same girl, which should be obvious but somehow still isn't in this category.

Video appears weaker than stills, so I would treat AI Angels as a strong chat + image product with video as a bonus.

Voice Calls Are Real — but the Meter Is Running

At 50 credits per minute, a 20-minute late-night call burns 1,000 credits. That's the recurring theme here: text is excellent value; media is where the cheap girlfriend becomes less cheap.

Create Your Girlfriend: Much More Basic Than It Sounds

The custom girlfriend builder is one of those features that sounds more exciting in the menu than it feels once you open it. You can adjust the basics — age, body type, hair, a few appearance traits — but there is not much depth beyond that. If you are expecting a detailed character creator with nuanced personality sliders, backstory, relationship dynamics, quirks or deep roleplay setup, this is not it.

That is a shame because the pre-made roster is already fairly standard. The creator should be the place where AI Angels lets you make something genuinely different, but right now it mostly feels like changing the packaging rather than building a truly unique companion.

I also had one generation that looked uncomfortably young even though I set her age to 22. That is a real concern for an adult platform. If I explicitly choose an adult age, the output should look unmistakably adult too.

AI Angels Final Verdict: More Fun Than Polished

The real reason to use AI Angels is simple: it is easy, very adult, visually strong and cheap enough to try without immediately regretting your life choices.

I stop at 3.5/5 because long chats can get repetitive, media eats credits quickly, video trails the still images and the pre-made character library lacks creativity.

For budget NSFW fun? Absolutely worth trying. For your forever AI soulmate? I would keep dating around.
