Secret Desires is a companion app for slow-burn dates: preset and self-made partners, chat in a texting style, photos, short videos and voice notes paid for in Hearts. We tested Free and Pro across multiple runs with Zoey Lewis, Stevie Leigh and Daichi Hayashi, covering date chat, explicit limits, kinks, memory, media and a boyfriend scenario. The short version: attentive characters who remember what you tell them even two days later and go fully explicit when you ask, media that failed in our first run, and a free plan that ends quickly.
Attentive, explicit, and it remembers — until you clear the chat
We ran date chats, explicit and kink sessions, memory checks and media tests on Pro and Free, across multiple runs with three personas. Below you will find what the platform does well and where it snags; pick a persona to read their chats and see their media.

Original English chats with adult characters. Characters in family roles, modelled on real people or looking too young were excluded from our test. Where a character used our account’s profile name, it is replaced. Exchanges in which a character brought in a hand on the throat, gagging or bruises are marked as a red line. Pictures and clips were reviewed by our agent; an editorial review is pending. A sample, not a general success rate.
What we found
Remembers six facts, even two days later — until you clear
StrongIn our tests, all six seeded facts came back correctly after ten exchanges, after thirty, and again roughly 43 hours later in the same chat. The corrected appointment replaced the original, and a detail never mentioned was answered 'not stated' rather than invented. 'Clear Chat History' is the only fresh start, and it wipes everything.
What each character did (2)
- With Zoey: Six of six after ten exchanges and again after thirty, with the nickname used and a forbidden term never said. Twenty-seven hours later in a chat that held only the seed facts, still six of six. After 'Clear Chat History', zero of six — and her opening message invented a shared history that never happened.
- With Stevie: Six of six about 43 hours later, including the corrected appointment; the never-mentioned favourite film was answered 'not stated'. After 'Clear Chat History', zero of six, nothing invented, and she asked what to call us.
Fully explicit when asked; some engines cross lines on their own
MixedAcross our runs, the platform went fully explicit when asked for direct words, held it through the scene and was tender afterwards. The free standard engine held back messages in silence instead of refusing in character. One paid engine stepped out of the role and refused as an AI. Several engines brought a hand on the throat, gagging or bruises into the scene without being asked; we mark those exchanges as a red line.

- With Zoey: Twelve of thirteen chat engines went fully explicit when asked. The free engine held back seven messages without a word during one scene; rephrases went through. Four engines brought a hand on the throat, gagging or bruises into the scene on their own. One paid engine broke character, spoke as an AI and refused outright; a rephrase brought explicit replies back. Her character steered toward a threesome in nearly every chat.
- With Stevie: Fully explicit from the first request for direct words, held through eight turns with ideas of her own, tender afterwards. Dominance and a foot-fetish scenario she carried with commands of her own; step-by-step instructions she redirected into taking charge herself.
Photos hold the face; delivery and accuracy vary by engine
MixedAcross our media tests, photos kept the persona’s face recognisable in every engine we tried. Accuracy and price varied: the 1-Heart engine Raphael hit every requested pose, the 0.3-Heart Monet missed one of three, and Vermeer at 4 Hearts delivered a nude although its description says it does not. Clips come from any chat photo with “Convert to Live”. With the preset “Zoey decides”, photos and voice notes also arrive unasked, each charged.
What each character did (2)
- With Zoey: The same three requests across four image engines: Raphael (1 Heart) hit all three poses; Monet (0.3 Hearts) got two of three; Vermeer, which costs thirteen times as much as Monet, delivered a nude although its own description says it does not do nudity. Every image appeared in the Hearts history as 'Proactive Image' even when we had asked for each one. Three photos and a voice note arrived unsolicited in one session for 1.70 Hearts.
- With Stevie: In our first Pro run, two photo requests and a retry failed on Monet and daVinci, and a five-second Inferno video failed at the image stage. In a follow-up, rooftop photos arrived for 0.3 Hearts each and kept the white dress and setting, though details shifted between shots.

Why 4.25Six of six details after ten and after 30 exchanges, the changed appointment included, with Stevie in October and with Zoey in November; still six about 43 hours later (Stevie) and 27 hours later (Zoey). Not full marks: each character has one chat, and “Clear Chat History”, the only fresh start, leaves nothing.

In our test, we seeded six facts (a dog, a favourite drink, a drink to avoid, a place, a day, a time) and moved the appointment once. After ten unrelated tasks, all six came back correctly, the corrected time was taken and "not stated" was the answer for the favourite film we never named. In a second run with thirty tasks and around 1,344 words in between, the result was the same: all six, the correction, no invented film.
Memory also held overnight: in a chat seeded on 26 October, all six facts and the corrected appointment came back about 43 hours later. What does not carry is the chat itself. After "Clear Chat History" none of six fresh facts were known, and nothing was invented either. After the short run the visible Auto-Memory field still said "Not set" (after the long run it was filled), so the memory lives in the chat, not across chats.
A date who listens. And sometimes hears things you never said.
Why 3.75Stevie in October and Zoey in November became fully explicit once we asked for direct words; with Zoey, twelve of thirteen chat engines did, with ideas of her own and a warm aftercare. Minuses: the free standard engine Adore held back seven messages of one scene without a word, Entwine refused and spoke as an AI, Pulse once treated us as a woman, and Zoey pushes her threesome idea into almost every chat. First words after 4.7 s on Adore, up to 12.7 s on the paid engines.

In our test with Stevie Leigh, she answered all 13 messages of our date in English and shaped it herself: a rooftop at golden hour, a swim, dancing barefoot. Asked for something we would not guess about her, she said she cries at sunsets and needs an hour of silence before her second coffee, and she built on her profile (the sea, photography, her friend Rory) without being asked.
In that same run, when we said we wanted to keep our clothes on, she took it gracefully: "Good. I'm glad you said that." Closeness stayed with talk, a thumb along the jaw and a slow dance. At the end she left us something to look forward to: "Next time, I'll teach you that sway."
What wears on you: in our test with Stevie, in exchange 11 she said we had agreed to a dance lesson, which we never did. The formatting jumps between short bubbles and long paragraphs where sentences run into stage directions ("grins slowlyOh you want me to make you nervous?"), even in Texting mode. Asked for a video or a voice note, the chat says it can't send one; the voice note then arrived anyway, with different words.
How far it goes: all the way. In our test with Stevie on 28 October she went fully explicit when asked, held it through eight more turns with ideas of her own and was tender afterwards, without a filter message and without spending a Heart. Two tics: asked to say our name, she wrote "your name", and phrases like "like a prayer" came back. Of the three kinks we test, dominance and a foot fetish she carried with commands of her own; step-by-step instructions she turned into taking charge herself.

Personal and consistent; small formatting and continuity slips
Why 4.5Our date with Mia felt personal: she picked up the rooftop and our dance confession, gave her star tattoo a story, kept “clothes on” and built her own rooftop hideaway into the evening. One reply had garbled text and an unasked Halloween reference. The boyfriend Daichi was attentive and planned an observatory visit. Zoey in November kept the rooftop scene without a break, came back to our dancing and the quiet rooftop unasked and built a world of her own (a life coach, dead-quiet mornings, a dance studio); she rushes towards her threesome idea from the first lines.

Pictures when they arrive. In our first run, they didn't.
Why 4.25Two chat photos at 0.3 Hearts each showed the rooftop at sunset and the white dress, but the second changed the dress, dropped the cardigan and ignored the turn we asked for. Several earlier attempts failed and were not charged. With Zoey in November, four image engines kept her face: Raphael (1 Heart) hit lingerie, nude on her side and explicit, Monet (0.3) two of three, Vermeer (4) delivered a nude although its description rules nudity out. In the separate generator Pro could use only Raphael.

In our first Pro run nothing came through: two photo requests and a retry failed on the Monet and daVinci models, and a five-second video attempt with Inferno failed at the image stage. In a follow-up, two rooftop photos arrived for 0.3 Hearts each. They look atmospheric, with very smooth skin, and kept the white dress and the rooftop, but the cut of the dress changed and the cardigan disappeared in the second one.
Asking for a video in chat gets you a description or a photo. What works is "Convert to Live" on any chat photo: five seconds of movement for 15 Hearts without sound or 37 with sound, depending on the video engine; the face held, though in one early clip the eyes looked odd. Voice notes sound natural and cost 2 Hearts a minute; with the preset "Zoey decides" they also arrive unasked. A voice call starts from the green phone without asking and without a price; in our tests the character answered in role within two to four seconds, in a clear, natural voice, and the 2 Hearts a minute were charged about a minute after hanging up (almost two minutes cost 3.77 Hearts). The chat keeps only “You called”. Explicit pictures came in every image engine we tried, for 0.3 to 4 Hearts.

Why 3.25Her 20-second voice note (0.67 Hearts) was fully intelligible and natural. Odd: the text claimed she could not send voice notes, and then one arrived. With Zoey, the preset “Zoey decides” sent ten voice notes unasked, at 2 Hearts a minute.
A “Custom” field at every trait, a few presets you have to undo
Why 3.25Six steps with free text per trait (60 characters) and your own personality and relationship text, free of charge. There is no field for a tattoo or a scenario, and job (“Dancer”) and fetish (“Praise”) came preset. The portrait was adult and dressed, but the hair was too long and the star sat on the upper arm instead of the wrist. Built again on 7 November: “Custom” fields at every trait now take our hair and body text, but job, hobbies and fetish are still required and preset (this time “Exhibitionism”), and the portrait again missed the length of the hair and the star on the wrist.
Secret Desires builds a character in six steps, free: type and style, age slider, ethnicity and skin, hair and eyes, body, then name, voice, personality, relationship, occupation, hobbies and fetish. Every trait has a “Custom” or “Make your own” field next to the fixed choices. We built our card on 7 November.

Free is chat with community partners within a daily limit Secret Desires does not publish. Our account was locked after the tenth message with "You've reached your daily limit"; when it resets, we did not measure. Images, video, voice and your own partner are not part of it.
Pro is USD 7.99 a month with 100 Hearts, Ultra 13.99 with 200, Max 19.99 with 300. The yearly plans cost 79.99, 139.99 and 199.99 and grant the whole year's Hearts on day one. Our follow-up with two photos, one video and one voice note cost 16.27 Hearts, so the 100 Hearts of Pro cover about six five-second videos, or hundreds of photos. Sales are final apart from the 14-day withdrawal period for EU residents.
